Santa Monica-Malibu USD – New Malibu High School Phase 1

The redevelopment and modernization of the former Juan Cabrillo Elementary School campus creates a separate and distinct Malibu High School Core building. The project included demolition of all 9 buildings on the former Juan Cabrillo Elementary School campus, totaling 38,853 SF of demolition. The new Malibu High School Building is approximately 70,000 SF and features a library, multipurpose spaces, visual and performing arts classrooms, project-based learning facilities, special education classrooms, STEM classrooms, a campus cafeteria, high school administration, and more to support a student body of 450 to 600 students.
