C.W. Driver University, our professional development program, was designed to broaden the knowledge and competencies of our staff through education in the following areas: project management and accounting systems, scheduling, cost management, green / sustainable building, quality control, safety and leadership and management skills. We offer paid attendance at various workshops addressing relevant topics such as labor compliance, DSA regulations, state facilities program developments, Lean Planning, Design-Build (a number of our staff are credentialed with a DBIA designation), USGBC training (over 50 of our staff are LEED AP’s), integrated project delivery, and more.

Designed for the recent graduate, Driver Launch provides hands-on project experience in the three key aspects of construction through a career path rotation including project management, field management, and project estimating. Each rotation is designed as a six-month exposure to that facet of construction along with classroom training and industry tours that further augment and accelerate the learning.

DRIVE is a 12-month leadership development program with quarterly meetings. You will have access to key executives who will provide valuable insight into C.W. Driver Companies’ strategic direction and day-to day operations. The first quarterly session will provide a program overview and focus on self-awareness using 360 degree feedback and DISC assessment tools. The remaining sessions cover the main aspects of our business (operations, estimating, business development and finance) in detail including post-meeting assignments and group projects.
