San Diego USD – Darnall Charter School, Whole Site Modernization

The Darnall Charter School project includes a whole site modernization, two new classroom buildings, and various site improvements. The first phase on the development will be the construction of a new elementary classroom building and a new middle school classroom building with site improvements necessary for the buildings and playground areas. Both buildings will be two stories tall. The elementary classroom building will have eight classrooms with collaboration areas and support restrooms. The middle school classroom building will have ten classrooms, one science classroom, and support restrooms. The new buildings will be constructed on the existing playground areas. Upon completion of the buildings the existing portable classrooms will be removed, and those areas will revert to playground fields. The Darnall Charter School is a kindergarten to 8th grade school located on the former Darnall Elementary School Campus.
