Long Beach USD – Polytechnic High School Transformation, Phase 2

The Transformation Project is a comprehensive campus overhaul that includes demolishing multiple outdated buildings and interim facilities, followed by the construction of new academic, athletic, and student service structures. Key elements include a new baseball field, basketball courts, and resurfaced tennis courts, along with new buildings such as a performing arts center, a two-story student services building, a state-of-the-art gymnasium complex, a pool building with a Myrtha competition pool and seating, and a two-story classroom building featuring modern instructional and collaboration spaces. The project also includes reconstructing Jackrabbit Lane to improve traffic flow, parking, and student drop-off and pick-up operations, creating a more functional and student-centered campus environment.
