Laguna Beach USD – Laguna Beach High School, Pool Modernization

The primary objective of the pool modernization project is to upgrade the facility, which is located across the street from Laguna Beach High School, to provide a multi-sport 45-meter swimming pool that can support the high school and community use needs. The project includes demolition, excavation, grading, drainage, and building construction to elongate the pool in the current configuration. The pool support building will be reconstructed on the west side of the pool and extend out into the current parking lot area. Sitework is required to modify the existing retaining walls and walkways to maintain pedestrian circulation and implement the proposed pool design features. The proposed pool layout is to accommodate a wide range of activities varying from competition to recreation.
