The Torrance Assisted Living and Memory Care Facility was delivered in two phases, totaling 82,875 SF and 117 units. The facility offers amenities such as restaurant-style dining, a salon, and private rooms. The project includes assisted living and memory care facilities on a 3.1 acre site. This project was delivered in two phases. Phase one consisted of the 70 assisted living units as phase two consisted of the 47 memory care units.
Phase I included the construction of a two-story, Type V wood frame building containing 70 assisted living units and surface area parking for 80 vehicles. The 51,875 SF building offers activity and multipurpose rooms, dining areas, a full-service kitchen with walk-in refrigerators, spa, salon, nurse stations, meeting rooms, and administrative offices. This facility also features a landscaped courtyard with mini putting green and lounge/relaxation space for residents.
Phase II involved the construction of a separate memory care facility with 47 units within three levels of Type I construction. The memory care facility features three warming kitchens, a terrace, salon, and outdoor garden. The building is equipped with a sophisticated access control system to ensure resident security.
