Disney’s California Adventure – Toy Story Midway Mania

Toy Story Midway Mania was a new interactive 3-Dimensional dark ride inspired by the Disney/Pixar animated feature film, “Toy Story” and “Toy Story 2”.  Located in Disney’s California Adventure, Paradise Pier, guests wear 3-D glasses aboard spinning vehicles that travel through virtual environments based on classic carnival midway games.  It is considered to be one of Walt Disney Imagineering’s most technologically sophisticated attractions developed. To complete the experience, as guests exit the ride they enter into the retail world of Toy Story. This project is another example of C.W. Driver’s ability to work within an occupied campus environment.
