The new Student Housing and Dining Commons at Cal State San Bernardino provides much needed freshman student housing and dining facility for the campus. The 407-bed student housing complex, totaling 107,260 SF, will have two buildings comprised of double and single dorm rooms, multipurpose rooms, facility offices, classrooms and shared bathroom facilities. The 750-seat dining facility, totaling 45,358 SF, will have self-serve and full service food stations, as well as three dining rooms which can be used for general dining or private dining. The student housing portion of the project is being designed to achieve LEED® Silver certification and the dining commons is designed to achieve LEED® Gold Certification.
