Coast CCD – Orange Coast College, Allied Health, Biology and Consumer Sciences Complex

The LEED Silver certified complex is state-of-the-art facility providing students with the skills they need to compete for careers in the fields of healthcare, science and design. Most of the 32 classrooms in the three buildings are specialized labs. The Allied Health building houses Dental and Human Simulation labs; the Biology building a Plastination Lab and dedicated molecular biology lab; and the Consumer Sciences building a Fashion and Interior Design Lab with art design studios, lighting labs and computer labs. Laboratory specialty equipment includes combination assisted natural ventilation and HVAC systems designed for laboratory use, fume hoods, laboratory electrical and control systems, and premium grade laboratory casework.
