The new Student Services Building will serve as the campus “front door” for prospective students, returning students, alumni and visitors. The project consists of the construction of a two building, three-story 138,400 SF replacement facility for Student Services and Administration staff currently located in the existing administration building. It will house the office of the president, division of university advancement, and divisions of academic, student and administrative affairs, as well as multi-purpose meeting and test-taking spaces, financial support, cashier, finance, registration, information technology and outreach offices. The undulating roof design is inspired by the surrounding hills and mountains. This impressive architectural impact sets the building apart as an icon on campus and within the entire CSU system. This stunning roof design also serves a primary and essential role in passive solar design, helping the project reach its desired LEED Silver Certification.
