The 450 B Street project is a six-story, 90,000 SF, structural-steel building which will be constructed over an existing parking structure. Located in the heart of downtown San Diego, this project involves the demolition of the existing three-story branch bank structure, along with a portion of the existing plaza level deck. The existing three-story below-grade parking structure will require extensive structural reinforcing and FRP seismic upgrades to support the new six-story, multi-tenant creative office building. The existing parking garage will be connected to the new building with three new nine stop elevators and a new central staircase.
