The Integrated Science and Engineering Building at CSU San Marcos will be a landmark “beacon on the hill,” transforming the campus experience through hands-on learning, collaboration, and cutting-edge STEM education. The 70,649 SF facility will blend science and engineering programs with classrooms, student support spaces, teaching and research laboratories, offices, building support services, and a café. Key amenities include a glass-walled Collaboratory, shared computer lab, capstone project spaces, open study areas, outdoor gathering spaces, and terraces for drone and robotics experimentation. The project is designed to achieve net zero energy use and LEED Platinum certification.
