San Bernardino City USD – Public Safety Building

The new Public Safety Building will house the San Bernardino City Unified School District’s Police Department and Cadet Training Program. The 16,700 SF building is one-story with a clerestory lobby, conference room, gymnasium and cadet training space, dispatch area, briefing and interview rooms, offices, and support spaces with restrooms, evidence storage, secured parking, and storage. Site amenities include a secured parking lot and hardscape and landscape upgrades. The building is an essential services facility, occupancy Type B and construction Type II-B, and comprised mostly of masonry and metal stud construction. The building is adjacent to the existing City of San Bernardino Police Department, located at the intersection of E Street and 7th Street in San Bernardino.
